Awkwafina

Awkwafina has been described as an American performer and actor who started her career through innovative raps which addressed the issues of sexuality and race with a the most comical of perspectives. Then she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum began her musical journey as a trumpet player. Her birthplace was Forest Hills Queens, she was the child of Chinese immigrants as well as Korean immigrants. Later, she began hip-hop and classical training. While in college, she took classes in journalism and women's studies. In addition, she spent an hour studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. After graduating, she began to focus on music. Her My Vag song, My Vag which was her response to the Mickey Avalon song My Dick, became a viral hit on the Internet and later appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. Other viral hits included the queef song and the winking NYC Bitche$ hometown tour. The third track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC Travel Guide, published in 2015. This was an additional idea. After a successful career as a performer She took on the character of actress. Alongside early shows such as Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in movies such as Neighbors to Storks. In 2018, her breakthrough roles included Dude Ocean's 8 along with Crazy Rich Asians. The EP came out in June.
